DETECTIVES OUTWITTED PARIS, Feb, 9. King Carol of Rumania to-day stole a march on the police who had been charged to ensure his safety and left Paris without- their knowledge. it was known that the King intended to spend, a few days at his chateau'near Nogent-le-Rotrqn. and all this morning a number of reporters and photographers waited outside his hotel on the Place Vendotne to record his departure in word and picture.
