The* technical ,sub-committee of ilio London conference has reached full agreement on qualitative limitation of at! categories of warships, subject to Italian reservations. Though Italy may not sign a naval treaty immediately, (bo Italian delegation lias done nothing to obstruct progress, and the feeling is general that ultimately she will add her signature to those of the British. American and French Governments.
The report of the technical sub committee is to lie delivered to (he first committee of the conference, whose task it. will he, to erystalise if intoi treaty form. Tin*, only detail requiring com. plotion is the framing of the safeguarding clauses to meet various contingencies
