500 OFFICERS RESIGN
MANY TO BE PUNISHED
(Reed. March 11, noon.) TOKIO I , March 10.
In addition to the former Minister of War, General Y. Kawafshim.a, 500 officers, including General S. Honjo, the Emperor’s aide-de-camp, have, tendered their resignations owing to responsibility for the recent coup d’etat.
The resignations are not being accepted, but many will be punished by transfer, or penalised for promotion.
