ALARMING DECLINE
VICTORIAN BIRTH RATE
(Reed. March 11, noon.) MELBOURNE, March 11. Although the number of marriages last year was the highest in the history of Victoria, the Government Statistician announced that the serious decline in the birth-rate had continued, until a rate of 15.16 per 1000 had been reached.
