LOSS OF MEMORY
MAN’S NIGHT IN BUSH NVDNEY, Feb. 28. After scarcli parties had scoured rough country about Gosford lor nearly 24 hours. Cyril James Moore. 45, a returned soldier, was found in the scrub near Lisarow yesterday, suffering from loss of memory, lie was exhausted and hungry. Moore left liis farm near Lisarow al 8.45 a.hi on Wednesday to gather oranges from his trees, hut failed to return. Parties searched the wild and densely wooded country until nearly 2 a.in. Nearly 50 men took part when a further search, organised by Sergeant Maiden, began early yesterday morning. The police Alsatian dog. Kaspar, gave the search parties a lead in the afternoon. and traced tint missing man for some distance before losing the scent. Moore was found about 4 p.m. in a half-dazed condition, making his way slowly in the direction of Lisarow. Later he explained that he remembered nothing after be bad left, bis bouse. He woke tip yesterday morning thinking! bo was in bed. and lonnd that lie was hi wild am| trackless country.
