PLATE GLASS SHATTERED
BIG SHEET AT OAMARU
VALUED AT £2OO (Per Press Association.) OAMARU, this day. During removal operations this morning a huge plate-glass window in the Polytechnic Building, measuring 19ft. by lift., reputed to be the biggest sheet of plate-glass in the Southern Hemisphere, was smashed to pieces. lit was valued at £2OO and insured under a builder's risk.
