NORTH CHINA TENSION
MONGOL LEADER SLAIN LARGE AREA OCCUPIED LONDON, Jan. 27. The. Times correspondent at Rekin says that the murder of a Mongol lender named Ni, near Chiangpei, has increased the tension at Chahar. Travellers from Chahar report that Mongol leaders, assisted by Manchukuo troops, occupied nearly all the provinces north of the Great Wall and have established an independent regime with headquarters at Chiangpei.
