Claude Hack, aged 17 years, a son of William Hack, was struck by a mixed train at 7 o'clock this morning and was killed instantly. The body, which was badly mutilated, was carried for over 50ft. The police and a doctor were summoned and the bodv was brought to the city. It is understood that the engine whistle blew before the accident occurred.
