RACING AT TRENTHAM.—At top, Queen of Song winning the Wellington Cup last Thursday afternoon at Trentham, easily beating Silver Ring, with Kinnoull, Grand Jury, and Hunting Cat next. Centre, Sweet Agnes leading Cuddle (next rail) after going a furlong in the Cup race, followed by Davolo, Queen of Song (the winner), on the fence, Silk Sox, and Spiral, with Grand Jury and Silver Ring next, and Kinnoull at the head of the others. Windscreen, at the tail of the field, is seen losing her rider. Bottom left, Mr. P. T. Hogan, owner-trainer of Queen of Song, receiving the Gold Cup at the hands of Mr. Eric Riddiford, president of the Wellington Racing Club, and in the presence of the club stewards. Right, Mala beating Symcony in the Wellington Stakes.
