IDOL OF THE HALLS
DANCER 65 YEARS OLD LONDON, Jan. 9. Mistinguette, Parisian vaudeville artist, whose legs are insured for £IOO,COO, has arrived in London. Although 65 years old, she is still a vivacious creature, who is the idol of the Parisian music halls. She says that she is looking for attractive English dancers for a new revue in Paris, but that so far she has been unlucky, English girls are pretty, hut lack the chic and sex appeal of American dancers. Mistinguette added tltat she also came to London in order to wear her clothes, saying, "In Paris no one dresses smartly any more, or even bothers to change for the evening, wliereas everyone in London is smart now."
