PUTT MOBSMAN'S RODEO
MOTOR-CYCLE CIRCUS
PERFORMANCE ON WEDNESDAY
Under the auspices of the Poverty Bay Professional and Athletic Club, a demonstration will be given next Wednesday afternoon at the Chlklers Road Reserve by the Putt Mossman's rodeo and motor-cycling circus. The entertainment lias world-wide lame and promises to give the audience an afternoon packed with thrills. Putt Mossman and his team are dare-devil trick- motor-cycle riders, versatile to the last degree. Their turns include a motor-cycle polo game, blindfold jump, bucking motorcycle, and the shooting of floating balloons from a motor-cycle travelling at high speed. Putt Mossman is a champion horseshoe thrower, and one turn will demonstrate the uncanny precision with which he can place horseshoes on a given point from a moving motor-cycle. It is seldom that the public of Gisborne has an opportunity to see such clever motor-cycle artists, and Wednesday's demonstration should prove an attractive feature of the Anniversary Day celebrations.
