COFFIN ON GUN CARRIAGE

The funeral train from Wolferton en Thursday will consist of a saloon full of flowers, a black and purple saloon containing the cotliu oT the King with the bodyguard, and then six coaches. The train will he drawn,, by the same engines and manned by the same crew as during the lifetime of King George. The Imperial Grown will be placed on the coffin on arrival at London.

The route from Kuston .Station to Westminster Hall, where King George's body will lie in state, necessitates tho closing of 30 roads. The procession will traverse Kingsway. the Strand, Trafalgar Square, and Whitehall, affording the crowds ample space to pay reverence. The gun carriage on which the coffin is to lie will lie preceded and followed from Kuston Station by mounted police. The weather is expected to be fine, but whatever the weather, the male members of the Royal Family and the household, all in plain clothes, silk- hats 'iid black overcoats, will follow on foot. The ladies of the Royal Family will travel by car. The navy, army and air force will furnish guards of,honor. Six thousand police will line the route and direct the traffic arrangements. The gun carriage, during the earlier stage from Sandringham to Wolverton Station for entrainment, will be drawn by six bay horses and escorted by Grenadier Guards each over 6ft. oin. in height. Tenants of the estate will attend.
