CORNWELL CUP CONTEST
BOATS OP ELEVEN PORTS TWELFTH ANNUAL RACE (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, last night, The twelfth annual contest for the Cornwell Cup, contested by 12ft. 6in. one design, boats of the Takapuna class, will commence off Bayswater to-morrow afternoon. The ports represented will be Auckland, Manukau, Whangarei, Tauranga, Wellington. Plirnmerton, Pareinata, Lyttelton, Christchurch, Kaiapoi and Dunedin. The Timaru crew were unable to come north. The 16th annual contest for the handers Cup will commence on the Waitemata on January 28. Ihe provinces taking! part will be Auckland, Wellington, Canterbury, Otago, and Southland
