TIMBER WORKS RAZED
FIRE AT ADDINGTON POSSIBLE £9OO LOSS ( Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Fire'burnt out the timber and joinery works of J. Down and Sons at Rosewarne street, Addington, on Saturday evening. The lire burned fiercely, the building being gutted within an hour of the discovery of the outbreak. The damage to (he building, stock and plan! was estinateil at between £BOO and £9OO.
The plant and stock' were covered tor £4OO in the National Eire Insurance Company, Limited. No reason could he found for the outbreak as tln> building bad not. been entered during the two proviqps days.
