AUSTRALIAN GOODS
DEMAND IN JAMAICA NEW YORK, Dec. 7. :\lr. R. W. Dalton, senior British Trade Commissioner in Australia, informed the Australian Associated Press that his sojourn in Jamaica was marked by numerous inquiries concerning Australian products. “It is really not my business,’’ lie said, “but I was impressed by the number of people who asked the best methods of obtaining shipments of Australian flour, dried tinned fruits, and other products, and I believe that a very worth-while market exists tor such products, and that present shipments are already considerable,” he said. “Ihe depreciation of the Australian pound gives Australian shippers a really favorable market.”
