GIRL KILLED ON ROAD
RAN IN FRONT OF CAR TRAGEDY AT BLENHEIM (Per Press Association.) BLENHEIM, last night. Corinne Avis Erecth, the Id-year-old daughter of Airs. Richard Bird (formerly All's. Freeth), of Miramar, Wellington, was struck and killed by a car driven by Ronald Home Myles, a lb-year-old public school boy, on a tour of New Zealand from England. The child, with her grandmother, was walking in the same direction and she ran over the road in front of the car, which struck her, -throwing her into a ditch. She was dead when picked up.
