OPOTIKI WEDDING

PARKINSON—LOVELL (Herald Correspondent.) On Saturday afternoon Si. Stephen's Church, Opotiki. was the scene of a pretty wedding, and one of interest to a arue number of people iii Mot u ami Gisborne. when Sarah Joyce, youngest daughter of .Mrs. Lovell, Opotiki, and the. late Mr. Charles Lovell. Alotti, was married to Norman Stewart, son. of Mr. and Mrs. S. 11. Parkinson. Waiorka road. Opotiki. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. ('. G. C. Salt. The bride, who was escorted by hei brother, Air. George Lovell, looked charming in her lovely frock of rich trench lace anil white, satin beaute. The bodice was of lace with long tightlilting sleeves, and the skirt fell in graceful lines to her feet, forming) a -light train at the back. The bridal red. loaned by a friend, was arranged with a coronet of orange blossoms, and fell in soft folds over her frock. White satin shoes and silk hose, while gloves incl a bouquet of unusual cream and >Teen tree tulips, which bloom only once in 10 years, completed a charming toilette.

The bridesmaids. .Miss Nelda Warrington, cousin, and little Iris Whitting;on, niece of the bride, wore very pretty locks of vieux lose silk mesh-net over atin slips.
