The Now Zealand w.omen tennis players played a further match against the New South Wales hard court team to-day at Rockdale and triumphed by a" margin of Iwo sets. Results were: — Singles. Miss Prior v. Miss L Poole, Si—7, 11—ti. Miss Eldroidge v. Miss Rudkin. Mrs Gee v. Miss T. Poole. G—2, 6 —l. Miss St ebbing v. Miss Nicholls, .".—6, 2—o. Miss Bruce v. Miss Beverley, o—2. ' Mrs Humphries v. Miss Miller, I—o. Misses Stebbing and Bruce v. Misses Nicholls and Beverley, I—o, 4—o. Mesdames Geo and Humphries v. Misses I. and T. Poole, 9—7, o—ll. Misses Prior and Eldreidge v. -Misse--Miller and Rudkin, 3—o, .'s—o. Total (singles and doubles).—Now Zealand 10 sets, 10S games; New South Wales 8 sets. DO games. The New Zoalandcrs showed nun!. impr.oved form and there wen moments of great excitement during the match, the issue being in doubt right to the last.
