ABYSSINIAN BROADCAST
PICKED UP IN N.S.W. SYDNEY, Oct. 30. A Wnuehopo wireless experimenter. Mr R. X. Shaw, claims that he picked up on a shortwave, 'between S and 8.13 o'clock this morning, station ROB, broadcasting from the Imperial Radio Centl'6, Addis Ababa. Following l a number of calls to the Columbia Broadcasting System, New York, a L"> minutes' programme of Ethiopian songs and choruses was given, followed by music and native instruments.
