INJURIES PROVE FATAL
)VOMAN HIT BY CAR WAXGANUI CITY TRAGEDY INQUIRIES FOR RELATIVES (Per Press Association.) WAXGAMiI, this day. Fatal injuries were received by a WOinah named Mrs. .Moss who was struck by a car While walking across Victoria avenue at- the lugesire stiret intcr-sv-ction last, night. She Was accompanied by an unemployed laborer, A. Motley, aged about 44 years who also was hit by the car and' sustained a compound fracture of a. leg and other injuries, necessitating an operation. His condition to-day was reported as satisfactory. Mrs. Moss, whose skull was fractured, died this morning. .
The police are inquiring as to relatives and ihe address of the. Victim who is Unknown to the hospital authorities. The driver of the vehicle, an Auckland woman, was alone the the time.
