OVER £2OOO CLAIMED
MOTOR-CYCLIST'S INJURIES COLLISION WITH CAR (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. Damages amounting to £2132 15s 6J were claimed by .Roy Theodore Eclser, hairdresser, of Lower Hutt, in the Supreme Court to-day as the result ol a motor collision in .which he lost n fool, had seven ribs and his spine fractured, and received a perforated lung. The collision took place on Easter; Monday last on the ramp at Lower' Hutt. Eclser was driving a motor-cycle and sidecar, down the ramp when he] collided near the bottom with a car driven by Yiolet Nells, the second de-i fendant la the action. The first defend-, ant was Robert Kells, father of the; second defendant and owner of the car. Edser alleged that the accident was duo to Miss Nells driving on the wrong; side of the road,
This was denied by defendants, who alleged that Edser had failed to keep to his correct side of the road.
It was admitted, said the plaintiff's counsel, that Miss Kells was not and never had been the holder of a driver's license.
