A queen carnival organised by the Kntaia Anglican and Roman Catholic Churches terminated at a function in the Agricultural and Pastoral Hall in Kaitaia, North Auckland, on Saturday night. The following were the figures : Miss Mabel Ford (Awanui Roman Catholic), £248 3s 4tf; Mrs, Roy Kelly (Kaitaia Roman Catholic), £ll7 19s 9d; Miss Mercia Frlich (Dalmatian Roman Catholic), £147 14s 6d; Miss Avery Carr (Takahue Anglican), £l2* 13s 8d; Miss Dolly. Mcintosh. (Kaitaia Anglican), £lO9 8s 3d, j, total, £BOB 3s 3d. This total will be increased, it is anticipated', to about £SOO.
