RIVETER’S COLLAPSE
180 FT. ABOVE GROUND ■ SYDNEY. Julv 11. Joseph Asprev. a boilermaker, of Darling street, Balmain, collapsed yesterday afternoon white at. work. 180 ft above the ground, on the new railway administrative building in York street, behind Wynward Station. Asprey was engaged on riveting on the twelfth, story, when he suddenly collapsed on the staging. The Central District Ambulance was summoned, and an officer had to he carried up in a crate by a crane. Asprey was taken to the ground in the same way. and rushed to Sydney Hospital, lie died before the ambulance reached there.
