VISIT TO WAIROA
V'TCKREfiAL PARTV (Special to till! TTi'i-nUI.) WAIROA, this day. The Governor-General and party arrived itl Wahoa at 12.30 p.m. to-day after a pleasant drive through from Gisborue in delightful weather, with one stop at N'uhaka on the way. There was a large attendance of tile' public, school children and ex-service men, estimated at over 1000. The proceedings passed oil' without a liitch.
Following lunch Lord and Lady Galway each planted a tree in the jubilee avenue at the Wairoa Heads and afterwards proceeded to Napier, stopping at Mohakn on the way.
