AGAINST STRIKE
CREW OF AORANGI

(Received July 17, 1 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 17. Efforts by militants to withdraw the crew of the Aorangi in sympathy with the Vancouver strikers proved to be unsuccessful. A special meeting of the Sydney branch of the seamen's Union decided that the crew should remain at work.
[Lhe meeting, however, agreed to carry a motion expressing sympathy with the strikers.
