At the wool sales iU.UtJo hales were offered including 5176 of New Zealand. About of Australian and New Zealand were sold. I'nere was strong competition. Germany was more active and there was some U,us,siau buying. Prices were fully maintained. Merinos were 6 per cent. above the opening rates.
