The Times' Berlin correspondent says that the British Legion delegation has received ,a most cordial reception everywhere. One. ceremony consisted of children laying crimson rosebuds on the graves of 1171 British war prisoners. Herr von Ribbon!rop, at a luncheon, expressed the opinion that the visit indicated approaching reconciliation hot ween former adversaries, including the French.
The cancellation of the visit of the British Legionaries to the Stnlhclm headquarters caused a sensation. The reasons wore not given. It is believed' that the sudden change in arrange ments is connected with the suspension of the Stahlhelm detachments at Baden.
Surprise was also caused by the announcement that General Gocring will bo unable to receive the legionaries when thev lunch at his estate.
