ATTACK BY SHARK
APIA, July 5
While fishing in shallow water ai Afega, a native woman was attacked by a shark. While under water she was seized by the back of the right shoulder, and a large wound was inflicted. He cries brought her companions to her assistance, and the shark escaped. Dr. Dawson, who attended to the woman, had to insert many stiches in the wound. She is progressing favorably.
