The application of an artificial windfield to a contour model of the Rougolai airport and its environs, now to be seen in a building at the rear ol the Wellington Town Hall, is said to be the first of its kind in the world. Wind tunnels have been built- for all kinds, ol purposes, especially in connection with aircraft, but the actual association of r, wind-creating apparatus with a scale model of an airport is something new.
