ASSOCIATION MEETS The weekly- meeting of the Poverty Bay .Football, Association was held las! evening. There .were present .Messrs. ,1. McLean, in the chair, A. Waugh, sen.. J. Kastou, W. Findlay, A. Waugh. jiin., S. B.ishqj), and the lion, secretary, Mr. P. Quinu. Correspondence was read from I lie Ha'wke'h Bay Association with reference to a representative game on September 14. stating that, it. was considering what arrangements could be made for bringing a primary school team lo Gisborne at the same time.
Saturday's results were reported as follow : Manga papa A 5 beat Central 2; Mangapupa B 0 lost, to Celtic 2; Te Hapara 6 beat- Kaiti 2. Seniors.—Celtic 4, beat Thistle 2; United 6 beat Mertile 2. The draw for Saturday was made as under :—Schools.—To Hapara v. Mangapapa B, No. 1 ground at 1 p.m. ; Celtic v. Central, No. 2 ground 1 p.m.; Kaiti V.
