His yoriiig owner, Wilfred Chapman, got him "wheh the dog was about eight weeks old, and now he will do anything Wilfred !says. ■Wilfred's father, Alfred Chapman, is employedl .& Short distance from his home. The' dog, Rover, always calls on pay days, gets Chapman's cheque and takes it heme,to Mrs. Chapman so that she can get to the bank before it closes. 'On other occasions Rover will trot dawh to the bank with the cheque gripped in his teeth and stand there until Mrs. Chapman gets there.
