SPITHEAD REVIEW
KING AT PORTSMOUTH ENTHUSIATIC WE LCOME (British Official Wireless.) Roc. noon. RUGBY, July 15. The King travelled to tiie outskirts of Portsmouth by special train, accompanied by . the Prince of Wales, the Duke of York, and the Duke of Kent, on his way to attend, the Jubilee review of the navy off Spithead to-morrow afternoon. His Majesty proceeded through Portsmouth by motor car, and was enthusiastically cheered by great crowds lining the route. The King is spending the night on the Royal yacht, .Victoria and Albert. It is expected that at least a quarter of a million people will watch the review from the shore and ships. Owing to the pressure of Government business, an adjournment of the House of Commons to permit members to attend the review was not possible, but a large group of members. including Mr. Stanley Baldwin and Mr. Ramsay MacDonald, will be present.
