SETTLER’S SUICIDE
IJPSET AT RETIRING (Per Press Association.) PAHTATUA, this day. The third suicide- reported locally in the last, two months occurred this morning. Martin Ncliancler Olson, 67, a wellknown settlor of Mangatainoka, Was found hanging on a plough line in a shed close to Iris residence. The deceased had just sold his farm and bought a house in Palmerston North, intending to retire. .He was veiy upset at finally parting with the property. Ho is believed to have been fairly wealthy. He is survived by one married daughter. _______
