NEW TECHNICAL COLLEGE
£25,000 GRANT APPROVED j A substantial grant for the construction of a new technical college at PapaHui,. designed to supplement the work of the Christchurch Technical College in Mpprhouse avenue, Christchurch, has Mon approved by the Cabinet. It js estimated that the school will cost more than £25,000, and it is hoped to hdve some of the class rooms ready for the beginning of the 1936 school year. The plans provide for a modem single-storey wooden structure containing ;lfl class rooms and laboratories, as Jiell 'as. rooms for practical work.
