nTcir-Bi*EEn planes (From a Special Correspondent.) __ LONDON, June 4. 1 tie second Comet monoplane ordered by the French Government is going through high-altitude fuel consumption trials. This is the famous winner of the Englatiil-A 11st mini speed and handicap races modified to carry mails. One machine of the type is already in the hands of French test pilots; Hie intention is to use both craft for experiments in the fast and economical carriage of mails over long distances. Recent delivery of two Dragons and two Dragon-Rapides to Railway Air Services for airline working in the British Isles has prompted a survey of machines at present, employed 011 British internal air routes. Dragon-type aircraft operate 110 less than 81 per cent, of them.
