Stevenson, Wellington ; Messrs. H. Corry and J. W. Gotrard, Auckland; Miss J. A. Burrell, Ruatoria; Dir. and Mrs. G. H. Verity. Mr. and Mrs. S. F. Burclett and Mr. T. O. Smith, Tokomaru Bay; Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Armstrong, Palmerston North; Dir. B. White, Gisborne. A radio message received to-day from l the s.s. Dlonowai by the Union Steam Ship Company stated that although the vessel had met strong winds and heavy rain on" the'first two days of the Island tour, she had now passed into warm sunshine, and everything was going well and happily. The liner was expected to arrive at Nukualofa, capital of the Tongan group, - this morning, where she would spend the day. A number of Gisborne residents are among the passengers making the cruise.
