'Following temperatures developed last night, Chase, Mataira, and Phillips were removed to St. Helen’s Hospital with a worse attack than that experienced by the two Reedy's. To make .matters worse, Air W. J. Wallace was ill this morning, and a. doctor will probably send him to hospital later. All the team’s five-eighths at present are unavailable, which is cruel luck for the tourists. NgaiO will replace Chase, McDonald will replace Phillips, and. Kawe will replace Mataira. .Six Leslie Wilson, Governor of Queensland, will meet the Maoris before the game to-day. The fain lias ceased, and the weather is perfect.
