■ ' WATMATA MEET INC! The meeting of the Waimata Valley Women’s Institute, was held in the hall on July 11. There was a small attendance owing to the wet weather. Mrs. L.' Newman, the president, took the, glwir, and the institute scpig opened the, meeting. .Mrs. Barber presented the proposed schedule made out by the flower .show committee, which y-ati discussed and a few alterations made. The dance' was postponed , indefinitely as most ,of .the members would be/ unable to attend. Owing’to misfortune, .Mrs. 11. Allan, who was to give a glove-making demonstration, was unable to come, so .Mr. Kirkpatrick gave a very interesting talk on the Salvation, Army. .
