MAY BE HELD UP

PACIFIC LINER VANCOUVER STRIKE ECHO BALLOT OF SEAMEN (Elec. Tot. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Received July 13, .11 sum.) SYDNEY, July 13. Whether the crew of the Aorangi, who are. members of the Australian Seamen’s Union, will be withdrawn from the vessel in sympathy with the Vancouver-strikers will bo decided at a special meeting of the union on Tuesday. The seamen said that militant members of the crew had made arrangement with unemployed members of the union to endeavor to compel the Aorangi ’s crew to tie up the vessel, and would submit a motion along those lines at Tuesday’s meeting. It is believed-, however, that such a move will bo vigorously opposed by the moderate section, who are expect ed to be in a majority. Wharf laborers continue to unload the Aorangi. This is regarded as another rebuff to the Communists, who had placarded the waterfront, with stickers declaring the Aorangi black.
