The King has approved of the appoint ,I,cut. of General Sir Robert Cassels to | )a Commander-in-Chief in India in succession to field Marshal Sir Phillip Clietwode, on completion of the liitlev’s term of office, on November 00. The King lias also approved that Sir Robert Cassels should be appointed a member of the Executive Council of the Governor-General of India, on taking up his appointment.
