Yesterday, a deputation urged Mrs Knox ‘Gilmer to allow herself to be nominated for the Wellington North seat.
!u reply, she said that she had always''taken a very close interest in politics, arid if it was thought that she could be of service to the country she was willing to accede to the pressing rennest of the deputation, providing she could satisfactorily arrange her personal business affairs.
