NON-POLITICAL BOARD
(Received April 6, noon.) LONDON, April 5. The utilisation of ihe presence of the Dominion Premiers to discuss with the Government the creation of a non-politi-cal Empire development board was urged by Sir -Robert Hadfield, addressing the annual meeting of Hadfield’s, Limited, Sheffield.. He suggests a review of the 1917 Dominion Royal Commission’s report on the question. This-was opportune now that a. Government-sub-committee was considering unemployment and work plans.. - Sir Robert Hadfield, who outlined a similar idea some years ago, is of the opinion that abundant, capital is available, and also men with the brains and capacity to tackle the problem.
