The opinion that television would not be introduced into New Zealand commercially for a fe>v years was expressed by prominent radio dealers at Auckland. It was stated that at present, with the very short distance over-which television could be transmitted, television receivers would be of no use in the Dominion until a. transmitting- plant- was available.
