ed with interest. Two stations have been erected, one on a hill near Rapallo and the other on high ground near Leghorn. The trans-, mitting stution—that at llapallo—consists of a wooden hut covered externally with asbestos to protect it from damp and to help exclude noises. Above it is the antenna. The receiving station is situated in a large room in an empty house over which will, be erected the antenna. The preparations are comtilete, and the.'experiments' will begin when Senator Marconi arrives from England. ■ .'"-••
