Spurious half-crowns and .florins are again iu circulation in Auckland. Several of the coins were handed to the police by shopkeepers. The coins are indifferent Imitations of the 1933 New Zealand half-crowns and two-shilling pieces, and their many imperfections make detection fairly simple.
