PATIENTS DEATH
EXTRACTION OF TEETH UNFORTUNATF. MISHAP (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, last night. “This is one of those unfortunate accidents which always may occur in operations of this kind," said tile coroner, Mr. E, D. Mosley, S.M., in giving his verdict at an inquest into the death of Ernest William Armiger, 22. Air. Armiger died on January 14 in tho surgery of Mr. E. A. Suckling, dentist, while two teeth were being removed under an anaesthetic administered by Dr. Robinson E. Hall.
• A post-mortem examination conducted by Dr. A. B. Pearson revealed that the patient was suffering from the condition of status lymphaticus, which, lie said, could not be detected in an ordinary examination by a doctor.
The coroner said he was satisfied that all reasonable care lmd been taken.
