An Invercargill gill, Miss Evelyn Donaldson, has made a practice of writing to convey birthday wishes to members of, the Royal Family. In her possession are- acknowledgments from the King and Queen and a number of their Children. Last .week she received from Major Alexander, Comptroller to the Duke of Kent, a letter conveying His Royal Highness’ thanks for her “kind message of birthday congratulations, which are heartily appreciated.”
