IRISHMEN OVERSEAS ■CRITICISM OF MEASURE (Received Feb. 15, 3 p.m.) DUBLIN, Fell. 14. In the Bail, Air. Maedermol, a member of the United Ireland Party, condemned the Aliens Bill, declaring that it, labelled kith and kin in various parts of -tho British commonwealth as aliens. Mr. Costello, formerly Attorney-Gen oral, said that under the bill. Archbishop Mannix and Mr. Bernard Shaw could be aliens.
Mr. do Valera, said there, was nothing to prevent them remaining Irish citizens. H they were horn in the. Free State, they were entitled under the Nationality Bill to lie regarded as citizens.
The hill passed the second reading by 53 votes to 37.
