RIGHTS OF WORKERS (Per Press Association.) •WELLINGTON, this day. ■ln the House of Parliament to-day, Mr. K. J. Howard (Lab., Cheh. S'.) asked the Minister of Employment if h? wopld make a statement giving the attitude of Hie Unemployment Board in the matter of the recognition of representatives of men duly appointed to make representations when necessary to the employing authority regarding job conditions, qr guy disputes. Sir Alexander Young, in reply said that men working under scheme No. 5 were employed by local -bodies who, no doubt, adopted the. usual practice regarding representatives of the. men. The ‘board 'had'Am 'anthotity over local bodies regarding such matters.
