Turkish Women M.P.s.
THE Turkish Parliament, on Docembei ti enthusiastically adopted the proposal to give women votes and the. right of election to Parliament. It is proposed that all women over the. age of 22 shall have a vote, and those over 80 shall also bo eligible to become deputies. Over 20 women have already decided to stand as deputies at, the next general election. They are stated to be assured of considerable support.
